Hey guys, I'm looking for advice.
I sold my car months ago with intention of using a bike as my main transportation. The plan remains the same but I figure that I'll pick up a car for general everyday usage that a bike doesn't work for.
I love the old e30's and would really love to own one.
My question is this: I have MINIMAL knowledge of mechanics. I don't, and never have worked on cars. I love to drive and I love aesthetically pleasing cars, unique and classic.
With minimal knowledge of how to work on my own car, is buying an e30 a death sentence?
Do these tend to need constant attention, being that they are 20 years old? Are repairs constantly called for?
Just give me opinions. Am I getting in over my head with an e30?
Thanks guys.
