    got another issue im so stumped i just changed my harness and the car ran and drove smoothly i had to take it to store in my other garage and finally wanted to drive it back to my main house and the car shut off in the middle of a main road , i had to tow it home after that i went in my house with the ecu and it fired up on the laptop but now will not fire up or get power in the car ,

    it only get power when the power adapter is on,

    just changed the relays for the ecu no blown fuses

    checked for burnt capacitors and nothing is wrong its all clean on the inside

    First of all. If it gets power with the 'power adapter' then if you supply the corresponding pins on the harness with that same power, it will work (If it does not then the problem is in between the MS harness connector and the main board.

    Try this. Pull harness connector and measure the pins that should give you 12v and ground with your Voltmeter. If it does not, then BAM your issue lies in your new harness.

    Also check the grounds, make sure there is around 12v from the SUPPLY pin of the harness to the ground where the MS is connected!

    Unless whodwho has some odd power regulation, I'd say it's safe to assume that the 12v input from the harness connector would also have direct continuity with the power adapter input.

      okay harness replaced havent had time , and same thing im gonna try and reflash the firmware on the ecu the car is not sensing the ecu is in , so i honestly dont know what to check for new relays new fuses etc ... no luck ecu reflashed i know when my ecu works as it opens in tuner and also ... primes the fuel pump and nothing it does nothing .. i was getting it ready and cleaning everything up it just magically stopped working fuses relays checked

        Hope this helps someone ,

        Finally figured out the problem car starts now! ,

        after struggling for a few days i got annoyed went and bought my 3rd engine harness < which was not the issue got 2 back up engine harness's now ,

        ripped my dash out tried to find the fried wired but still couldn't find shit , got to replace my cracked dash tho!! , and than i finally looked around at everyone saying the coil has to have 12v constant well that's the thing i couldn't figure out i it didn't so i slapped on a new line to the coil from the ignition switch wired it up to the stock coil harness and put a fuse just in case something ugly happens it kills the fuse and not anything else im runnning a stand alone unit so i dont care about how i rewired it as its working perfect now
