Cat delete, solo muffler?

I have a solo muffler on the car right now but i was thinking of deleting the cat. Has anyone done it on e30 325 and how much louder is it going to get?
Will i gain any power from it?
I will try to post a video of the exhaust sound later on.

i have no muffler ruining a straight pipe its pretty loud and you dont get to much power

i think it sounds real cool with out the cat. but with the original muffler.

When I installed the headers in my car, I figured that I might as well cut the cat out. Between the headers, the Supersprint and the lack of cat, it came out sounding awesome IMO.
