I made my exhaust more restrictive, and I think I like it

After installing a racing dynamics rear valance on my 318i, I needed a new muffler ASAP. The stock exhaust tip was oriented too far to the left and had to be cut off just so the valance would fit.

I came across a cheap M10 Supersprint muffler with dual tips, but because it was for an M10, the single inlet pipe is a smaller diameter than my m42 piping. Which meant that despite the Supersprint being a more free-flowing exhaust, in my case, it would probably be even more restrictive than the stock muffler. I think the difference is 2.25" (M42) and 1.75" (M10).

Anyway, I didn't have any other easy or cheap options so I had it installed with a reducer leading into the back of the muffler. Surprisingly there is no noticeable loss of HP at the top end, and it's more responsive at the low end. And it sounds and looks great too IMHO.

Any thoughts? Is my butt-dyno err.. full of crap?

    Here are pics.

Looks damn good. I wish that I had dual tips. My single tip looks alright, but kinda weird in the large opening.
