Anybody try e-bay exhaust

I just got the exhaust and opened it up. It looks like its pretty nice quality for the price.

I actually just bought one of the newer model of these to replace my rusted original muffler. I will let you all know how it sounds when i get it and install it. I paid $239 for mine from a seller on ebay. I can get a sound clip when its all finished. Hopefully in a couple weeks.

i was hoping someone would have a sound clip of that one. There seems to be 2 sellers selling that same exhaust. One for $299 with free shipping and the other seller is selling it for $239 shipped...both from texas.

I am debating on trying 1 of the 2. The slightly more expensive one seems to be 'nicer' and hoping it has a little more volume over the IE unit.

I believe this is where the ebay exhaust ones are coming from. I'm thinking of picking one up. $280 shipped and looks like a better design than the other ebay exhaust (IE copycat). Wondering if anyone already took the plunge? You can find youtube clips of this brand exhaust on other cars and if it's similar, I think it sounds nice. I'm not expecting a tremendous amount of hp gains, but the tone is more important for me since my e30 is my dd.

Thats the new one I was talking about. It's a bit pricier, but still nothing compared to other SS models. The X-pipe should remove any rasp left in the pipes.

I have the IE copy and its nice and light weight but pretty quiet even 2 years later. the new ebay exhaust seems pretty nice, dual straight cut 3 inch tips, and an x pipe by the flanges. but who knows how it sounds?

I have the IE ebay one it sounds a little louder than stock sounds nice IMO but I've only put a few hundred miles on it so it might break in a little more.
My dd is a dodge dakota with a v8 and 3" magnaflow cat back so the car not being really loud is a nice break for me.
I had to tweak the pipes at the front and the tail pipes to make it look good but for $209 you kinda gotta expect it not to be perfect.

It appears to be the IE copy. The other exhaust, which I did not purchase has and x-pipe right after the flanges.

I know there is one out there that is a copy of the IE exhaust. I have heard it on an e30 and it will progressively get louder as the insulation inside the muffler wears off. It's not a bad sounding exhaust though

I have one in my garage. I'm waiting for a new installation kit to put it on. I'll get back to you when I do.

i just wanna get a little more tone not really looking for power gains anybody have experience with these?
