    M50 exhaust rebuild, any suggestions?

I am going to create a new exhaust setup on my M50 swapped 325es. This is what I need:
    1. Quieter at idle and normal cruising speeds, but it can be louder at full throttle.
    2. Good sound
    3. No rasp
    4. Not to expensive.

I was thinking of going with some ebay SS replica headers. Those would lead into a high flow cat of some sort, then into a glasspack and then into a Magnaflow 14815 muffler. After the headers I was thinking of going to a single pipe to save from having to get a dual in and out cat and run two glasspacks. Possible size of single pipe would be 2.5-2.75.

My questions: Has anyone else run something similar to this? What does it sound like? Any suggestions on this setup?

    Thanks,
    Keanan

I have an E36 M3 mid-box and mufller and the sound is awesome. Not loud at all.
