little exhaust question

ok like some of you know i got a free 85 e30 325e but the problem is it has no exhaust (cut off right be4 the cat) i have a glass pack i put it on and its still way to loud ( not for me i think it sounds great but the police may not agree with me ) my question is i wanna get a magnaflow muffler and then dump it out the side dose anyone have a similar set up? i would like a sound clip.

remember this is just a temp thing till i get my m30 in after the m20 goes boom. shes got about 230k on her with a new timing belt and valve job. But i drive 100 miles a day highway so im kinda just waiting

just get a stock i exhaust. they're cheap and sound good.

Good luck killing that M20, thing may very well last you another 100k+ miles. But personally, I wouldn't side-exit a stock eta unless it was for shits and giggles.

o ya i know i love the m20 i know they are good for a while but i do have a heavy foot and i kinda beat on my cars lol oops. but i love side exit so its prob gunna happen

Yea will the new timing belt its gonna be a while till the belt snaps and the engine goes. You are going to plumb it all the way out the passenger side?

I have the same magnaflow too and love it, you can usually get a used one on ebay or cragislist. I wanted a valid warranty so I got it here. Magnaflow 36535. Also some of the forum sponsors usually have a sale going on. Either way its a great exhaust system, sounds great, and very easy to install.
