My buddy has an IX with no cat straight pipes through the stock muffler and it sounds amazing. I love it at WOT.

Although for me, I commute my car about 30 miles a day round trip so I just went with the stock IS cat/exhaust from the manifolds back and i'm a happy camper. I keeps it low key.

it is on a 2.7 stroker, Dbilas. cold air, stromg catback, msds shorties, 292 cam.

the resonator made it a lot quieter inside the car with the windows rolled up.
I love how it sounds. It's no louder then it was before until you hit about 3500. Then it sounds like it's really opened up.

Mufflers 4 Less at Milwaukee and Elston. They get great reviews, and have quick turn arounds. They get my recommendation. I got the car up today to check it out and the work was pretty good. Nice bends and welds.

$80 installed is pretty damn good to the $150 - 200 quotes I was getting elsewhere, where I had to install it myself after because they couldn't due to laws.

Just tell the muffler shop it's your track car, always worked for me and my friends. Although we don't have emissions laws in Oregon.

I run with no cat and a stromung cat back exhaust and I like how it sounds but with the 4.10lsd in the rear ~3200 rpms down the highway gets old when it drones at you, I pass cars just to change the tune:)

I tried telling them it was going to be a track car and still got rejected.
