Hey guys, I've been a member over at bf.c for a while and thought I would jump on over here and see how it is.
Ok, here is my first dilemma as r3v member:
1. I bought a Cherry Bomb glasspack muffler to replace my OEM rear muffler.
2. I went to go get it put on at a local shop to find out I have not had a cat on the car since I bought it. Needless to say they did not put it on due to legal issues.
3. I figured I could give it a shot since I am pretty good with other components of the car. I have never dealt with exhaust, so I checked a few write ups, etc. Anyway, my car sits in my driveway with no muffler, loud as a bitch in heat and the glasspack is exact diameter of OEM piping so it will need welding.
4. Before I pay to weld on the glasspack, do you think I will need a cat to make it tolerable to drive at speed? If so, I will just weld the factory muffler back on. and count my losses.
Thoughts?
