    Remus universal mufflers

I found on Remus' site that you can buy universal mufflers. I want to try this muffler. I know it's a little ricey to some of you but I like it and i've seen it on a few other E30's around here and thought it looked good. Does andyone know how it will sound with a 2.5in. back exhaust with a highflow catalytic converter? I saw a clip in the exhuast clip thread and that Remus sounded amazing. Will this sound similar?

I was thinking the same question, though I'd be grabbing a more traditional less ricey muffler style. Etiher way you slice it this has got to be cheaper than an $800 + Remus system from Bavauto or such.

I saw a picture of a car on here with this muffler, not the burnt one, which I wouldn't get, but it didn't look bad. I'm going to do the whole exhaust from headers back myslef and should be able to do it for about 500. I like the other mufflers better but they are more than 125 more.

It would sound good without a doubt. I have the remus catback, i managed to snag it for $350 shipped and it wasn't even broken in yet :) But yeah, 2.5" piping back to any remus muffler would sound great.
