There's a brand new rear muffler for sale for a decent price that I'm thinking of getting. The one on our 325is is rotten and needs replacing. A preformance exhaust would be nice but right now is unnecessary for our very stock '87 325is. Our car is a 2/87 build but when I went to realoem, it appears the rear muffler changed 9/87 (part # 18101705783).
The exhaust that is for sale was for a 1991 325is so my question is, will this fit our 2/87 build car given this apparent change in the part on 9/87? It sure looks like it's the right one to me in the pics.
