My new Remus set-up - Let the wolf run

Been looking for a nice exhaust for my car for some time now. Was very lucky to find this gem. Brand new, unmounted.

As soon as I get it hung and going, I'll get some clips. Man I'm freakin excited to get this on. Remus e30 Challenge set-up.

Waiting for some new studs and nuts.

Never seen that Remus system, tips are extremely long and is that rust? They are 304 stainless systems.

No rust, just surface marring from welds I suppose. I like the idea of the longer tips under my early valence and the slant tips should work well with that rally look. A stock twin pipe set up is 47.5" from the hanger mount in from of the muffler to the tips, and this piece is only 45". So what it has in tip length, it makes up for in short throaty muffler length. Build quality if phenomonal.

As far as never seeing it before, neither had I. The person I bought it from had a performance bmw shop where he had this on the wall as a display. Shop closed. If it wasn't for the reference on the remus shop site, I probably wouldn't have thought it was real.

If that is the same one James has on his MTech1 car, it sounds just nasty...small children scatter, dogs howl and gorillas beat their chest, challenged by the sound of it.

Lake County? I got a piece of land in Clearlake Oaks off Wolf Creek Rd. I used to drive the roads hard up there. Like 175 to/from 101. And parts of 29 by Robert Louis Stevens Park. Florida is just awful for driving. My buddies are all doing the Sheet Iron up there. On bikes of course.

That 175 between lakeport and 101 is awesome, called hopland grade. Beautiful views. Problem is it's a hotspot for aerial chp making sure people stay on one side of the yellows. I used to drive the 29 over st. Helena everyday for 4 years. Lots of accidents on that one. Always thought it would a great road to close down and do some time trials on.

If i remember right, JC's is bavauto headers and then pipes to the muffler. So I'm sure mine will sound very similar. Hope so. We'll see how the x-pipe resonates.
