Zender Rear Valence and Exhaust problem

Any of you guys had this problem? The car is an 1987 325iC with all stock and original exhaust. The rear valence is from a 85 325e. I thought they were all the same back there. The edges of the valence match up fine with the bumper profile, so its not a valence alignment issue.
Suggestions? Would buying a new cat back exhaust for an 325 eta get the alignment right?

Just go to a muffler shop and get whatever you want put on it. They will line it up with the cut out in the apron. No need to spend money on a cat back.

The thing about the zender rear apron that I encounted (as did Gregslow318i) is that true dual exhaust has a really, really hard time fitting in it. I originally planned on keeping my rear zender, but with the S50, it just wasn't going to happen without butchering it.

Thanks for the input guys. I think I will have to make it around to a muffler shop this next week and see what they can do. Suggestions on a reasonably priced muffler for a stock M20? Its a cabrio, so I am loosing my hearing already every time I drop the top. Ha ha....

Went by the local exhaust shop today. They said only one muffler in stock with dual outlet (single inlet) they had was a Borla. I was quoted $589.00 to splice it in and get the tips to line up Did I get the Howlie special?
