So I want a new muffler for my M10 car, if anyone has seen an M10 muffler they will know what I mean. So I was thinking of sourcing an oem M42 muffler and having it welded where my current muffler is. Through some research I noticed that the M42 rear section looks just like the M10 rear section. Would I be delusional in thinking that the M42 rear section would potentially bolt up to the M10 front section? I like the simplicity of the idea over having an exhaust shop potentially screw up welding a different muffler on my exhaust.
