Previous owner installed some generic meineke muffler with god awful tailpipes. It sounds ok but looks terrifying... should I replace the whole muffler or just get some nice tips welded on? Not looking to spend too much.

It's hard to tell here but it looks like the thing sticks out a foot! I'd weld some tips on but was wondering if there was a nice sounding but cheap muffler... nothing crazy loud though
