Had the local muffler shop install my new SS exhaust today. I purchased new mounting brackets from pelican and it looks like the muffler hangs about a inch, inch and a half too low (pics below). I want it tighter to the apron... anyone have any quick fix suggestions? Also, what are the best bang for the buck headers as far as performance? I'm thinking IE?

Love me some Supersprint! When I had my new m20 one with all new mounting hardware, it did the same thing. Didnt sort it as it sold a few months later. Probly just have to fab up some new mounting brackets.sigpic -
I think I can gain an about an by inch cutting off the turn down sections where the upper and lower brackets meet now that I think about it. I know, I had to wait 4-5 weeks for it to ship from Italy... well worth the wait. Plus, there was a sweet switchblade knife left in the box by an employee I guess lol. Thanks supersprint!Comment
