    32is Exhaust Specification question.

My e-30 exhaust needs to come out for a clutch job, there seems to be a repair done after the manifold flange, also it is a single pipe until some point thereafter, the exhaust appears stock from the point at which it exits the engine bay all the way to the muffler.

Also, shouldn't there be some bolts in the flange fittings? Was this welded together too? No obvious signs of welding here though.

It's an 89 is so should it have the two piece manifold? Is the single cast unit better and would it fit?

Last of all, is there a flange or slip fitting down near the Cat so that I might just replace the section between the Manifold Flange and Cat?

    Thanks

    Things I learned today.

The exhaust was still two down pipes to the Cat, The flex pipe is what has been repaired. I need a flex pipe section from the manifold flange to the Cat. My Exhaust form the Cat back has been seriously deformed prior to my owning it. It is crushed pretty good.

Was looking at Monza exhaust as a Cat-back bolt on, Any thoughts?

I don't need fancy chrome tips, I do want free flow.
