Muffler/glass pack recommendations

Well lets try this again and see if I can get some real info and not some stupid smartass comments like last time

My car currently has a straight pipe with a cat in the middle and is obnoxiously loud, and the 5.0 is always following me

what would you guys recommend putting on it? a muffler, or a glass pack and what kind of brand?

flowmaster and be happy. i have straight back from headers.
always coast in nuetral when cops are around, or i granny shift it.

glasspack wont quiet you down. you could go witha resonator.

have you been pulled over yet?

i suggest asking a offdutty/retired cop what they think.

Yep got pulled over like 2 weeks ago pretty sure he was just checking if I was drinking cause it was 1am but thats what i figured a glass pack wouldn't do much I want it to be quieter but still sound nice

Sounds like you just need a turbo muffler. or Go to Flowmasters site and see what all they say about thier mufflers... http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/index.php?cat=1

I love my Spyntech muffler. Theres nothing that sounds close to it. I get compliments on my exhaust all the time

Cat then 2.5 tubing to a Summit super turbo is too loud for me on a M42. If I was 17 I might think it's ok. I'm adding a 12 inch long Summit glass pack.
