Another thing to think about is that running a harness like that without a roll bar or cage is also kinda risky. Think about being belted securly, upright, in your seat and the roof collapsing in a hard roll over.

I was told(By a pro driver) the way it is in that first link is the incorrect way and can cause spinal compression. I talked to him and we decided the best place to mount it was up on the back shelf as it is now..
