Ive searched couldnt find what im looking for.
I have a 3" pipe running fromt he downpipe all the way back to the rear subframe ATM. Cars Loud as all hell, keeping me from tinkering with the new setup due to my late hours and neighbors.... no complaints yet but you can see it in their faces :). My goal is to have a quiet deep tone at idle. louder at WOT is ok, but Stealth is the look im going for. I will be adding in a divorced wastegate with a dump so that will take care of the noise at WOT factor.
heres a pic to give you an idea of clearance, its a pretty good fit doesnt rub, but I havent really driven the car anywhere or over speed bumps, so I want to keep clearance the same orsimilar.
my setup CT-26 turbo, 2.5-3" DP to 3" pipe all the way back.
Im considering selling my muffler and finding something else but this is what I have its not on the car yet:
Im thinking maybe a resonator or cherrybomb style straight muffler before the tip, but will this be enough? any experience with this. On my mkiii supra I just kept the straight pipe with straight muffler, but at that time I could care less because it was a 3.0L and was pretty quiet as is and there were a sh*t ton more bends than the e30's exhaust system.
