    Dynomax VT?

Ive been looking at them lately and was wondering if anyone had any imput on them. Ive seen some hav had issues with the valve rattling a little but fixing that with steel wool.

Was looking into the 21 inch ones but cant decide on what the difference would be between the ones for over 4.0L and under 4.0L. Does anyone have any opinions on it?

part numbers are 17159 for the under 4.0L and 17959 for the 4.0L+. Would it mainly be just the tension on the valve?

    318is btw

interested in this as well, I need to quiet down my super 44 a little for the m30 swap, but still want it to scream when opened up. This seems like a possible candidate to add in...

First post lol. But to answer your question these mufflers are crap I went through three on my old car until they just refunded me my money. The valve ends up breaking on the inside and it starts to rattle and clank close when you are not driving hard. It is a cool idea just not well executed.

I have 17159 on my 325i now. Bought in Sep 2011. Didn't experience rattle noise.

I pair it with a magnaflow 11366 (as center) and ebay header and a chopped off 335i muffler tip. (The tip actually made a noticeable sound difference)

Very quiet in idle or cruising below 4000rpm. Opens up when you step on it or above 4000rpm.

Here is a link for sound of the car.
