    ebay exhaust

Is this the same ebay exhaust that a couple of people on here run? Just asking before I purchase thanks.

if you have a prefacelifted car. these fit very nice but it takes a lot of tweaking to get it to fit on a late model car with a lower valence.

Interesting. Same thing with the ie exhaust? I have a late model, and I've been searching for pics of cars with this exhaust. Haven't found anything yet.

yah its not that bad but I would save my money for the replica super sprint exhaust. if you search some of my threads for a review you'd find its very positive. I think the seller is still able to hook up with pricing if it is available. shoot me your email via pm and I can have him email you.

I think the point he is trying to get across is that these are cheap-ass ebay exhausts, expect to have to do some work to make it fit perfectly. If you have an early model, they "fit" without issue, as there is nothing there that needs to be to "fitted" to.

If you want "off the shelf" to fit perfectly, spend more money. EDIT: like that real supersprint, for example.

On the other hand, while Stephen has issues with his, I can point at half a dozen that fit flawlessly on a late model.

            Luke, understood.

Just to be clear, the ones that you say fit without issues on a late model, are they like the one I posted? Or are they like the supersprint replica?

            Thanks.

The ones that fit perfectly are Supersprint, B&B, etc, basically, the $800 versions.

The POS ebay is a crapshoot. I have seen them be perfect and I have seen crap. Any replica is gonna be a crapshoot.

I've got the ebay one that is more like the IE copy. It has no x-pipe. The fitment at the back ended up being pretty much at the far left of the cutout in the valence and the tips are both "clocked" clockwise about 15 degrees too far. The muffler sits at the right height but the pipes in front of it tend extend down farther than stock. This would only be a concern if you are lowered I guess. For the price, it's hard to beat and if it bothers me enough I'm sure a shop could tweak it to perfection for me.

The car is an '89, so it is a late model.
