So I just installed an aftermarket Z3 muffler on my 318i and the problem is it is sitting right below my diving board, now before I tuck my bumpers over spring break I wanted to know if there is anything I can do to keep it from melting the insert or warping the bumper? Like bolt on a layer of steel to the bumper? Or wrap the tips? I dont know....
