    m10 exhaust question

Ok, so my plan down the road is to run a bit of boost through the little mill. Only, until I gather all the parts, I will be keeping it N/A so I can drive it around. I have the top end beefed up (still stock cam for the time being) and the bottom end is a 2.0L. I have a header for it, and it came with a 2.5" -> 2" adapter at the collector. The muffler I have is a 2.5" inlet. Will there be any adverse affects of running 2" piping to a 2"->2.5" adapter for the muffler? Or should I just get another muffler that is 2"?

i can't see why it would matter, your still reduing back pressure compared to a stock exaust, don't take my word for it though. im currently researching my own exaust system, take a look at this; http://www.mikekemper.com/elantra/diyexhaust/index.html

Thanks for that link, actually helped me out a bit. Will be sticking with 2" tubing after that read, and will keep the muffler I have now
