    strange exhaust ringing?

Okay so, will start off by saying, 325e with auto trans. Old downpipe had a crack (and when I pulled it off, no cat... oops) so I ripped the whole exhaust out from downpipe to tail and installed a new used one from someone here on rev (thanks tim). Muffler+resonator are fairly new, cat was described in good condition which I trust, and no obvious cracks or leaks. Got it all installed and tightened up.

Now when its started up and in park it sounds fine, but when I'm in gear and giving it gas the whole thing sounds like its got this strange ringing sound? its not sharp, its not a whistle or a rattle, but almost like the whole thing is resonating. It is lessened a bit once it warms up, but still there. I'm not even sure how to describe it because I've delt with all sorts of exhaust rattles and creaks.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? any ideas?

Is it hitting the sway bar by any chance?

I had an issue with my exhaust where it was rubbing ever so slightly on my rear valance. Also, I broke my rear hanger (pre-muffler) and it was making a ringing sound as well. Double check you clearances along the whole system if you can.

I would bet that it is rubbing/rattling on something. Exhaust can make some strange noises when it is touching things.
