Cost to get a new muffler installed

So I am getting ready to swap a stroker into the E30, and I was thinking now is probably the time to get a "meaner" exhaust

JAnderson went with a vibrant muffler on his m50 build, and I believe he was satisfied with it.

I am looking at this muffler - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vibrant-Perf...ht_1789wt_1110 - but how much do you guys think a muffler shop would charge to install it? This stuff is hard to explain over the phone, and my car is undrivable right now so..

I have that muffler and a 10" cat. It's borderline raspy at WOT but that could be my headers. Sounds awesome otherwise.

Cost me 150 to get a new muffler welded on along with some extra pipe added etc.. I would get a muffler with a dual inlet so the muffler place wont have to make a y pipe since b25s have a dual pipe exhaust iirc.

        $150? Not too bad

Well if your exhaust is stock you'll need a Y-pipe since the muffler has a single inlet.

Also, a 2.5" inlet would be much better than a 3".

          I'd expect $100-$150.

Damn, I thought that was a 2.5" inlet. My bad

I think I will just save up the $600 or whatever and get it done right

eBay headers --> 2.5 inch single --> glasspack --> this muffler
