Full straight pipe. Yay or nay?

So my 325i is almost ready to hit the road, and I'm debating on what to do.
I'm looking for your guys' opinions on why I should or shouldn't get it, and why?

If I do decide to go with a straight pipe, should I add a resonator or a catalytic converter?

    Keep the cat.

    Keep the cat.

    Keep the cat.

M20's like to rasp above 4RPM with out the cat.

Do whatever else you'd like though to the exhaust +muffler, it will sound good to decent. Just keep the cat! You won't "lose" anything doing so.

How will I not lose anything if the cat restricts air?

I'm talking about in general.. Cats would make you lose a little bit of power, correct?

I've removed the cat before, and it was not worth the 1hp gain, if that.
