    24v single outlet ideas?

I'm swapping my 318is to an s52, but I wanted to keep the single outlet look and not have to hack-up my rear valence.

Does anyone recommend me using a dual in single out or single in and out?

As for the rest of the exhaust, it is the stock headers and and most likely a pair of resonators inline aswell. I'd like to keep this simplistic and low cost (not cheap!)

Throw me some advice I'd really appreciate it!

I've always used single in single out mufflers, as it makes the fabrication work a lot easier.

I have a Magnaflow 14578 5x11x22" muffler, with a 3.0" inlet and outlet. The inlet and outlet are both offset and the outlet is positioned perfectly to exit the 318is rear valance without any modifications. You can also use E30 muffler straps. The bolts on OE straps are too short, so you'll have to buzz them off and install longer bolts. The aftermarket straps will work fine.

Why not just run the entire exhaust as a single 2.5 inch? That's what I would do!

Go to Summit Racing's website and search through Magnaflow mufflers. You can find the exact specs you want.

That's the route I'm going now, except im using a Dynomax 'turbo' muffler and magnaflow cat. Having everything fabbed up by a local shop. Should be quiet enough to ward off unwanted attention and keep the exhaust system legal.
For all things 24v, check out Markert Motorworks!
