on budget wise a lot of people do pipes from headers to a glasspack in place of a catback then pipes to a muffler of their choice.

I paid $150 to have a shop run pipe from my header straight back to my Vibrant Muffler. If I had to do it again, I would probably have added a resonator inline to tone it down some.
