So the clown who had my ix before I did put some glasspacks on the end of the factory system. The exhaust all the way up to the rear of the car looks fine, good condition. But, the glasspacks are there. This is my commuter car, and it is too noisy.
I took it into the muffler guy who has done some repair work on my Land Cruiser, and I left with a quote for a magnaflow muffler for $190, a $50 y pipe, and then two tips at $45 a piece for the muffler. All told, looking at $350 to replace the muffler with something decent from him. He has been the cheapest around in the past, but there has to be another way to get a decent dual outlet muffler on there for less than $350.
What would you guys do if you wanted to keep it dual (is dual pipes the whole way back) and not spend a fortune?
