    Supersprint CatBack

So my original muffler got a hole in the exhaust and I should have done some shopping around, probably on ebay since this thing was so expensive but i ordered a supersprint cat back. It came with the pipe behind the cat where the res would be and the muffler. It cost me 680 dollars :| My exhaust leak actually sounded good, it was right near the back of the muffler but i need to get it inspected. Anyway, I got the muffler and everything bolted up today and its extremely quiet like more then oem. I should have done some research but i was hoping for at least a rumble or something. Im thinking of selling the muffler. My old e36 had a straight pipe from cat back and sounded amazing, i also drove the e30 around without the muffler and just the straight pipe and it do did sound awesome then i threw the muffler on and was like . Will this thing get louder over time and is there any gain from having this setup or did i just spend a ton of money on a fancy exhaust when i could have went ebay for the same thing?

I'm looking for a quieter exhaust to replace my Remus system. It is real throaty and I'm getting too old to "enjoy" it. I just want to hear the singing of the valve train at this point.

We can discuss trades if interested. It's an $800 exhaust, new.

Thanks, I guess you got a discount. Everyone else and them sell it for over $800.
