    Straight pipe to stock muffler?

So i railed a hole in my exhaust pipe, right around the middle of the car, putting the mofo up on a trailer. Stupid. So i was wondering if anybody thinks there might be any performance coming from a straight pipe to the stock muffler. Pretty ghetto and honda civic-like i feel. Or should i just buy a more performance oriented muffler. thoughts?

There is no performance oriented muffler for these cars, just louder ones. Without the center section it will be louder and a little more raspy, I personally don't think it sounds bad that way though.

I've got straight pipes through to the stock catback system (no catalytic converter). All it seemed to do was increase rasp and barely increase sound. I expected it to be quite a bit louder.

that would be INSANELY loud. look through a resonator, its just a straight through perforated tube

A resonator has fiberglass in it to "resonate" the sound do a cat delete and resonator delete makes it sound badass! My bro just deleted his cats and muffler and left the resonaters on and did 4 in exhaust. sound sick
