Spintech owners...??

Who has a spintech muffler? What model? describe tone.. how loud is it? I know that last question is very open to interpitation... Scale 1-10. 1=stock 10= sets off car alarms, hurts to drive, gets tickets.
over 10=headers in to straight pipes

Im gonna make a muffler and these spintechs look easy to make. dont cry bout patents, im just a poor guy w a welder.:)

Sound clips would be good.

I think spintech mufflers are very loud. If you look inside one there is very little baffling. I wanna say that Stereoinstaller1 has one of there mufflers.

Most cats on the west coast who go to Castro's for work have spin tech exhausts. I used to have one, no louder than a magnaflow or any aftermarket muffler. They can sound and perform very well depending on how much of your exhaust you change/upgrade.

I already cut off the resonator after the cat and am runnin 2.25 pipe w a like 18in glasspack right after cat. I got el cheapo eBay DTM tipped muffler. Guess what it sucks and has a annoying tone no matter what I try to quite it down. .

So I figured I'd try to make a stainless muffler for myself.

Any other opinions?

I had a spintech on my vert. Sounded tits! Like Herry said, shit load of us on the WC running them.




I currently have a remus on my coupe and sounds a bit different.

good to know. but how loud???? Im tryin to get away from the loud and dumb that i have. im lookin for under a 5 on the loudness scale of stock=1 to sets off alarms=10. Just a bit louder than stock. there is nothing to these things on the inside i know. I kinda think theyll be louder than im wanting. Oh well. Have welder will redesign if needed.

Any sound clips? Any old threads dont have the sound clips any more.

Your not looking for spintech then. I would rate mine at 7.5 I would set off alarms and I even got a ticket for noise pollution.
