    Best catback for under $300?

Perferably would like to be around $200 but my max would be $300 for a catback. Something tasteful, not to loud, yet not to quite.

    Recommendations?

Oem? Not intending to be a smartass it's actually a pretty damn good option for what it is. I've been researching this myself and you basically seem to get magnaflow style (absurdly loud unless you get additional resonators which defeats the purpose if going cheap/universal), or you get the $800 quality brands like Remus and Supersprint.

My choices have basically come down to Ireland' SS for a bit more ($450) or new stock... and if you want paint it black and throw some tips at it for a couple extra bucks

oem is the route I decided to take. Everything else was too loud.

EBERSPAECHER (251 06014 270) at BMA $225 shipped free. Enter SPEC30 in promo code and get 10% off.

IE or ebay are the only cheap catbacks. I say have a shop weld on a different muffler unless you just need to replace the exhaust.

IE SS or Ebay copy. They sound great behind a M30 on a budget.

No budget Stromung, Stebro, Remus, not B&B they are insanely loud.

            See this thread:

I'm doing the same thing with my 318is. There's a coupon code for Advance Auto Parts online that gets you a nice discount on the parts; the rest is getting it all welded up.
