    Exhaust mounting, recurring fails

Where is a good source for E30 exhaust mounting brackets and those sort of bits? I'm hoping to find a stock style strap plus donuts to put around the muffler and solve an issue I'm having with mostly half-assed mounting technique. If I have to forget that and weld 4 strap mounts to the bottom of the car that works too.

I have a full 3" pipe with some sort of magnaflow can going out the back. With the stiff suspension and auto-x action, the stockish rubber donut style mounting on one point is NOT working, they just keep breaking. Last one I welded a metal strap around it to reinforce the rubber but somehow that is gone, now just the strap is holding the can up. I'm plagued by exhaust hanging issues.. every few months I'm under there trying to make some stupid autozone generic exhaust hanger work. The weight needs to be distributed across more mounting points. I also need to find something durable, those donuts autozone sells are not reinforced at all, the just rip in half. Or if I go with different style mounting it just needs to work. I'm so done with these stupid issues.

I want to replace the can with something quieter.. still will be 3" but honestly it's only pushing 250HP. Everything is sized for 300 but the boost just isn't set high enough and I don't think I'm going to up it any time soon.. there's no reason for it to be as loud as it is. In the process I want to get a proper, isolated, exhaust mounting completely redone.

Suggestions please. Also feel free to rip on me for putting up with half-assed exhaust mounting. This is definitely one of those areas where cutting corners will be nothing but headaches.

As far as hangers go, this style will work much better then stock donuts.

I've used these on an exhaust I built and with 3 of them, nothing moves what so ever. I got a 5 pack of them off eBay for like $25.

I keep having the same issues. The Donuts i Bought from Bavauto explode in like 2 months.

      With a normal OE exhaust.

This looks like a good one, thanks for suggestion. I like that the rubber is fully housed in metal.. I'm trying to find that style now. So far it's all the style with the rubber strap riveted on (which will fail) and rubber donuts (which will fail).. if anyone finds a source post it up! :)
