Problem solved. Flex pipe > Magnaflow cat > Vibrant UQ resonator to 18x8x5 magnaflow with lots of pie cuts for the dual 2.5" out to fit the M3 bumper.

I used the cherry bomb vortex muffler once. Awesome quality and very smooth fairly quiet sound. Its available in 3" in/out 14" long but is pretty heavy.

you need a Remus exhaust in your life. Your problem is your using magnaflow which are free flow exhaust. My AC Schnitzer exhaust is made by Remus. I am running ACS headers also and straight pipe till the muffler flanges. I LOVE IT!! Quiet idle and sounds awesome at high RPM's...best of both worlds. (my 2 cents)Comment

Looks like I am going with the 8x5x18 3" in/out magnaflow. Hopefully the extra 4" of length will be a little quieter than my current 14" 3" in, dual 2.5" out. I am adding a 3" flex pipe as well which may lessen vibration at idle.Comment

doubt it.. i'm in the same boat actually. i currently have a straight-thru style can on a 3" exhaust and have decided that the drone is just too loud. WOT sounds badass but freeway trips kind of get old.
It would be nice if these things came with decibel specs or SOMETHING to compare noise level.
