Do I need a new exhaust system?

I have an 85 eta with a 2" single pipe, high flow cat and a glass pack.

I'm building a 2.7i, and I think I'm gonna need at least 2.5" maybe even 3" ???

I don't mind loud I care more about what will give me the best power

2.5in would be the best for NA, 3in is a little to big and I have issues with ground clearance. Sounds really good but, eh 2.5 is what i would go with.

For a custom exhaust a single 2.5" system will be perfect.

Another option is to swap a complete M20B25 exhaust system on to your car.

Shit.....I just scrapped that a few weeks ago, oh well i would rather go with a 2.5" set up similar to what I have now.
