On the way home from the Vintage, my exhaust caught the contents of my trunk on fire (big thanks to the bronzit from Ontario who stopped to help, you are awesome). It is completely rusted but I loved the way it sounded, loud but not too loud, crackly but not too crackly. Now I am going to have to replace it but cannot fathom going back to quiet. State inspection doesn't matter, I have inspector friends and we don't have emission testing so that is not a concern. I'd like to keep it less than $500 if possible but will go higher if necessary. Can anyone suggest a set up that is loud enough for people to look but not so loud people throw things?
