    o2 sensor questions

    ok, so it turns out that the stock bosch m10 o2 sensor for my car is 117$$ no way im paying that. Iv heard of using a mustang one? is this a known thing, can i deffinatly do this?
    90 325is
    IE stage 3s and refeshed m20....

    Thats for i and e cars.

    You don't need a O2 sensor, don't waste your money.

    Seriously. Unplug it, you won't notice a difference.

        Because they aren't needed? You might have interest in replacing it when it comes time to pass emissions but a m10 is perfectly happy without one.

          so just unplug it, cut and cut the wire, leave the plug there?

          where does it plug into so i can pull it from there.

              I agree with Jordan on this one. O2 sensor has very little if any effect on the operation of the engine. I had mine unplugged for a while, and didn't notice. Now that I have headers I removed it totally. And I don't know about the M10, but on my M20 it plugs in from under the battery tray (front). But again, no need to unplug it. Just leave it there.
