    Good pipe diameter for M20

I am going to be getting a new exhaust on my car soon and want to know a good diameter for an M20B27. Im going to be getting a Borla Muffler one inlet two outlets. The Muffler has a 2.25 inch inlet. Would a 2.25 piping exhaust be too big? The exhaust will be all new with IE Motorsport exhaust manifold. No cat and no resonator. Just piping and a muffler.
Float like a cadillac sting like a Bimmer!:)

i run a 2.5" exhaust, it is literally headers to a Y and an 8' straight section of 2.5" pipe to a dynamax turbo muffler, thats it.

For a single exhaust I recommend 2.5". It may be a bit overkill for the Eta engine but so are headers...

I advise you to keep the cat somehow.

-Not worth taking it off for the 1hp gain
-Not worth paying extra for emissions
-Exhaust note will be less raspy up top
