    Rear Muffler for a Stroker

Had a custom exhaust fitted about a year ago - Extractors through high flow cats then a long/large rear muffler it's a twin system all the way and i think the diameter is just under 2 inch per pipe.

My problem is its far to quiet and raspy, im thinking about changing the rear muffler.
My question would i lose performance if i put a magnaflow 14815 with a y peice just before it, will that cause to much back pressure.
Or can anyone recommend a nice muffler with twin in and out that has a nice deep bark.

I'm on the same hunt... Having a 2.8 dropped in. The goal is long tube heads to a y-pipe to 2.5 inch pipe then a single muffler. Borla is a good contestant for me too. I'd love a supersprint or an eisenmann.

Personal preference i would not go 14815, had it on my eta and it was fine but with long tubes and a resonator + 2.5in pipe it rasps like crazy in the mid range. Sounds great outside the car but still to much rasp (rice) for me.

Thrush Welded. Great Muffler and great build quality.

I would say the bigger the tails off of the muffler the deeper the sound...
On a side note a friend of mine has an eisenmann race muffler on his M30 swapped 325is with high flow cats, and in my opinion as well as others, the car sounds like total crap when he gets on it. Idle sounds good but that's it, anything more than an idle is so raspy that it takes away from the car.

For anyone curious what it sounds like. I am waiting to put my shorty headers on but I have stock manifold with 2.5 straight pipe after cat to this muffler. I think I've been approached many times how good it sounds despite my tiny exhaust leak. I think it sounds more throatier with the stock cat and manifold.

Sounds like this on the road

Sounds like this from the outside

                  and another clip.

No problem mate I'll be modifying it a bit with headers and high flow cat.
