Thrush welded muffler on m20?

I did a search on you tube and didn't find much in sound clips. But anybody here have this muffler on theirs? I'm going to need an exhaust sometime since the PO did a hoe handle engineering job on mine.... :-? It will have no cat, and have dual 2.25" inlets and outlets. I had one of these mufflers on my truck but it was a 4.3 V6, and sounded great. But I know the inline six will have a little different tone and since it's a smaller cubic inch that will factor in to.

I have the welded muffler on mine, and it sounds great. None of that high rev "Brap Brap crap".

I dont know how it sounds without the converter.

Edit: should be here Tuesday knowing how Summit works. I also got 3" stainless tips for it. IIRC, they're what I had on my last e30.

We are talking about a chambered muffler like a flowmaster, not glasspacks...


Anyways I got it on, its very loud and drones a lot. No sound clips cause of crappy weather. Will get some sometime.

That sounds and looks really good, but do you think it would still drone with a cat?

I think a cat will take some of the drone out. But I'm not to worried about it. I'll just annoy people on the highway on their cell phone by riding next to their window lol.
