Here's another one... idle surge was just a tuning issue that's since been sorted out... just don't launch out of your neighbourhood up to 5500 rpm and you'll be fine lol

I personally run the stock headers and piping, just catless. I cant attach the video file from my phone, but its on youtube as 87 325i no cats. Shes a white vert with an m20.

for sure i'll look it up. my buddy is selling me his slightly rusted stock muffler for $10, just gonna throw it on so it's quieter than straight pipes till I find a muffler that I like/can afford.

I will agree, but I don't think it'll be worth while for my car just yet, I spent $2,000 on the car, and dropping 8 bills on just an exhaust doesn't make sense for me just quite yet, think I have to resolve my paint situation first by getting real paint instead of plastidip.

Correct. Went to my local muffler shop and they welded and bent in exact diamter and length pipes of my cats, and left the stock headers and muffler on it. Absolutely freaking screams in a WOT third gear pull. Sounds so good at idle too, very loud, sounds almost like a lope tuned diesel.
