    Straight pipes to replace cats?

Is there any company that makes these? i remember seeing a used set for sale about a month ago and they looked pretty pro and not homeade. How much do you think it would cost to have a shop make these up?

Good luck finding a shop that will make the piece's for you. Most place will refuse to make any pipe that is to be used inorder to delete the cat. Most laws require the use of a cat.
      just my 2 cents worth

i dont have to worry about emissions, got a close friend who does inspections here. plus its only 2 more years i believe till i dont have to worry about that anyway since the car will be 20 years old. noise might be a problem. i have the ie catback still uninstalled bc im debating on what to replace the cats with. supposedly the ie is pretty quiet, so i cant see it being out of control loud, especially compared to all the 4 bangers with straight through exhausts that are all over here. i was hoping someone made these so i could buy them new and mount up nicely.

i live in smithtown, suffolk county. its more west in suffolk and on the north shore, pretty big town im sure youve atleast heard of it. must suck to move from around here to binghamton. my buddy goes the school there, suny, and man that city fucking blows unless your a college student just looking to have fun at school. im not tryin to rag on it that much, but from everything that i saw that is one ugly city and the weather sucks too.

you'll just have to find a friend who has a lift or something. A shop can get in really deep FEDERAL trouble for doing it for you.

its illegal for a shop to REMOVE a catalytic converter but if you show up to the shop with straight pipes they'll do whatever u want. a single magnaflow style 2.5" cat will still flow very well (much better than stock ) and still keep you street legal and it sounds great on the top end as well. hope that helps.
