325iX muffler situation

So I have had my e30 for a couple months now and about a month ago I cut off the stock muffler and have been riding around with it completely straight piped whoch is deafening but awesome lol. I ordered a magnaflow muffler (14815) that has a single 2.25" inlet. I was wondering what the best way to get the muffler connected would be. The problem is I cant find a 1.5" to 2.25" Y Pipe (not sure why my exhaust is that size but it is) So is thinking about buying a 1.5 inch to 1.75 inch Y pipe then getting a reducer to make it fit. Would that be a good idea or would it be better just to have a shop manufacture a correct sized Y pipe? Thanks.

take it to a muffler shop and have them figure it out it will be cheaper than buying a bunch of crap and clamping it together to have it leak and fall off

Well I was gonna weld everything but. I guess I will just take it to a shop

Yeah i saw those but unfortunatley I need it to be 1.5 instead of 1.75

He was driving up to see me, heard some noise and watched the muffler fall out and it spun into the woods as another driver tried to dodge it LMAO. Just a winter beater though. Ehh, who needs cats anyways?
