    How does this sound?

Much to my chagrin, I am not swapping in an S52, since I would then need to upgrade just about every peice of power-delivery equipment on my car.
So, I'm modding the crap out of the M20 head. Shrick 288 cam, valve springs, P/P, etc. New rod bearings too.
So as far as exhaust goes to take advantage of this:
IE shorty headers, 2.5" (Magnaflow?) midpipe, maybe hi-flow magnaflow cat, and either my current non-sport ansa muffler, or something else - advice?
What should I do about the resonators - could someone please explain EXACTLY how they effect the power and sound? Thanks. Oh yeah, nando's car sounds nice.

M50..... you spend the same money and you get the same power, with much more potential, and reliability.

You insist in this whole M20 head deal..... the M20 really isnt an engine that has much N/A potential. Throwing money at it (unless you're going FI) is just utterly stupid.

By the way.... if you really want performance and you live in Florida, why are you even considering a cat?

Haha yea, I know, I might run catless. Who cares if I gass everyone at the traffic light.

I KNOW the M50/S50 has MUCH more potential. I'm not stupid; I've read all the posts. If you really want me to drop in an M50, email Steve or Thomas at Cars and Concepts here in Tampa; they have a website. They are the ones who pretty much spend an hour talking me out of it.

resonators dont really do much to restrict the exhaust flow... its just like a straight tube with holes on it and absorbing material on the otherside of that...

im only mildly modding my exhaust... i cut out the 2 30 degree crimp bends and changed them to mandrel, and now im taking out the resonator and stock muffler and just have a magnaflow straight through... im not expecting much, just prolly sum added response and an exhaust note.
