getting ready to scrap my new vibrant exhaust

Is there anything i can do to quiet down the drone and overall volume of my exhaust on my chipped 325e? I'm really trying to give it a chance but its literally giving me a headache. Im planning to 327i as soon as I find a decent 885 + possibly turbo if you are wondering why 2.5" piping.

Here is my current setup. 2.5" piping throughout- from stock exhaust manifolds, new legal cat, vibrant ultra quiet resonator 1141 (LOL, quiet), to dual tip Vibrant Streetpower dual tip 1148.

This setup sounds really good at WOT, zero rasp. But its just too loud overall for me.

    Thanks!

The turbo will quiet the system some what.

The quietest muffler is the Borla ProXS.

Resonators don't quiet the system though. You can add a second muffler in the mid if you want. I have a Borla ProXS in the mid, with a Stromung at the back. It's pretty quiet.

Get the biggest mufflers you can fit wherever you can fit them.
Do 3'' might as well. You're going to have to buy another exhaust system again and spend 300bux again so just do 3'' and be done.
A 24'' will fit in the back.

Your muffler right now it's a 18 or 16''? Those "resenators" are bullet glasspacks ya? They don't do anything i've used them before
and don't do anything. Use another oval muffler in the middle it'll sound nice :)
