Is this weldable?

I was going to use a mig welder to weld some stainless steel pipe to the stock headers of my M30.

Is this compatible? possible? or will it just not work...

Very difficult to wild dissimilar metals, especially with a mig. Plus your headers are probably cast iron, if they are like the M20 ones. You should just weld ss flange onto your downtubes and bolt them to the exhaust manifold. In short, no you can't do it. If you must weld, try brazing it.
