exhaust leak

...and no i dont mean my big ass rusty hole exhaust mod

when i give it a little hell i get an exhaust smell in the cabin, now early one after i reinstalled the downpipes i had some visible leaks around the bottom of the headers, but since then it has gone away, i dont know if i ever got them torqued well as they are a pain in the ass to get to. so basically this isnt really a question of were the smell is coming from , unless you think its from a different place, but more of a how can i accurately torque those fuckers.

i wouldn't think you would be able to smell an exhaust leak as much as you would be able to hear it. Can you hear the leak wile you idle or drive the car?

no, but i have a rusty ass hole right before my muffler, and at idle there may not be enough pressure to get it to leak.
could exhaust gasses be escaping through my intake due to cam overlap?

ok, still have this problem, smells kinda like im burning up my cat, but how would i get the smell in the cabin
