Exhaust note Q

What mod can one do to obtain an M50/M52 like exhaust note??
Sometimes I really like how you can distinguish the grunt of an E36 cruizing by from in your house ! :

put an m50 under the hood?

Really though, i think you will find it hard to recreate that sound because i bet a lot of it is determined from the head. since yours only has 2 valves per cylinder it might be hard to get that same sound. I dont know though, that just my guess...

The plastic intake on the M50-family engines give them a pretty distinct sound.

24v's do have a very distinctive sound to them

Really weird when you hear that distinctive sound in an E30

custom exhaust helps.......my magnaflow cat and borla "can" sounds darn good........24v sound?........dont know bout that.
